What is Unionbank EON card?

EON is Unionbank’s Cyber Account is an internet-based deposit account. It is Unionbank’s solution to address the need for Filipinos to easily transact money online without having to use a credit card. Through the EON Card, you can make online purchases and even withdraw money from your Paypal account.

Unionbank EON card fees

If you are going to ask bank personnel, they would tell you right off the bat that it is free to use the EON Card. Not exactly. Aside from the P350 to cover the Visa Electron and annual fees, there are a number of other fees that are associated with the EON Card:

• No Transaction Penalty – PHP 200.00 per month starting on the end of 12th month of inactivity until the account becomes dormant.
• Dormancy Charge – PHP 500.00 per month starting on the end of 24th month of inactivity
• Withdrawal
  • Unionbank ATM – PHP 10.00 (after the 3rd withdrawal)
  • Non-UnionBank ATMs within the Philippines – PHP 12.00
• International VISA Plus ATM
  • Balance Inquiry – Php 75.00
  • Withdrawal – Php 175.00
  • Withdrawal declined due to insufficient funds – Php 75.00
  • OTC Withdrawal Convenience Fee – Php 100.00

• Electronic Funds transfer to other banks – Php 10.00
• ATM Card Replacement – Php 150.00
• Transaction Diary – Php 200.00
